Rowerdennan to Inversnaid
The guide book states that the next few miles are the roughest walking of the whole route. Personally I did not find the going as tough as yesterday, except for in the area of Rob Roy's Cave. The rough section only lasts for about two miles. It promised to be a warm day again so after a while we stopped and changed into our shorts.

Wild Goats roam this Northern section.

No roads serve the Eastern side of the Loch in the north

There are some fine deserted shingle beaches.

Approaching Doune farm. The building on the left is Doune Bothy... free accommodation for walkers

Among these rocks Rob Roy's Cave is located. Here the track takes a steep and torturous route.
The twenty three miles miles along the side of Loch Lomond is now about complete, and we can look forward to the Highlands.
